Juniper berry: the 2020 harvest was poor

In Europe, the main supplier of juniper berries, the harvest takes place in autumn. It is usually plentiful, but this year, for climate-related reasons, it was rather thin, as the season was shorter than normal. As a result, as there is scarcity, prices are on the rise. It should therefore come as no surprise if the precious berry is a little more expensive this year than in the past. The quality, however, is there, at least as far as distillation is concerned.
